Dr. Mahmood is an esteemed academician and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Pharmacy Department at the University of Chakwal, Pakistan. With a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, Dr. Mahmood has made significant contributions to the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

Dr. Mahmood's areas of interest are vast and include polymerization, solubility enhancement, and drug product development. His innovative work focuses on designing hydrogel micro-particles, microneedle patches, microgels, solid dispersions, inclusion complexes, orodispersible tablets, and hydrogels. His current research projects are centered around developing various carrier systems from natural polymers for anti-cancer drug delivery, demonstrating his commitment to addressing critical health challenges.

With 65 international peer-reviewed impact factor publications and two authored practical manuals, Dr. Mahmood's research output reflects his deep engagement with advancing pharmaceutical sciences. His work is widely recognized in the academic community, and his expertise in pharmaceutics is expected to greatly benefit BPMR. Dr. Mahmood's extensive teaching and research experience, coupled with his dedication to innovation in drug delivery systems, make him an ideal leader for BPMR.
