JBCMS Revises Publication Charges, Effective October 1, 2026

Lahore, Pakistan — September 1, 2026: The Journal of Basic & Clinical Medical Sciences (JBCMS) announces a revision to its Article Publication Charge (APC) and related policies. Beginning October 1, 2026, a single APC of US$150 per article will apply to all authors. The revision brings the journal's charges into one uniform and transparent structure while keeping its published research freely available to readers worldwide.

The revised charge applies only to manuscripts submitted on or after October 1, 2026. Manuscripts submitted before this date will continue to be charged at the rate that was in effect on their submission date, so authors whose work is already under consideration will not be affected.

Under the revised policy, authors pay nothing at the time of submission, as JBCMS does not charge a submission fee. The APC is invoiced only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Editorial decisions are made independently of payment, and every manuscript is assessed solely on its scientific merit through the journal's peer review process.

To support a wide range of scholarly contributions, several article types are published free of charge. These include Case Reports, Case Studies, Viewpoints, Communications, Letters, and Editorials.

JBCMS remains committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to publishing quality research. Authors who are unable to pay the APC may request a full or partial waiver at the time of submission, and each request will be considered on its merits.

Complete details are available on the journal's Publication Charges page and in the Logixs Journals Refund Policy. The editorial team thanks its authors, reviewers, and editorial board members for their continued support, and warmly invites researchers to submit their work to JBCMS.
