Aims & Scope

The Journal of Basic & Clinical Medical Sciences (JBCMS) is an international open access peer-reviewed journal. The journal aims to highlight the advances in basic and clinical medical sciences, covering a wide range of aspects. JBCMS supports a wide range of academicians and researchers to share and discuss new basic medical findings, helping the relevant audience better translate or apply results to patient care. The journal also encourages medical professionals and clinicians to discuss the high standards of medical care by promoting good clinical practice and discussing the challenging issues to improve health care.

JBCMS will consider submissions from the various fields of basic and clinical medical sciences, including but not limited to human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, cell biology & genetics, pharmacology, microbiology and immunology, parasitology, clinical laboratory, pathology, internal medicine, public health, oncology, infectious diseases, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, endocrinology, dermatology, gynecology, obstetrics, surgery, pediatrics, radiology, diagnostic imaging, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and orthopedic surgery.

JBCMS welcomes original articles, reviews, case studies, case reports, viewpoints, communications, letters, and commissioned editorials which aim to accentuate the latest knowledge that synthesizes new theories and explores the horizons of basic and clinical medical sciences. The journal has adopted a fully Gold Open Access (OA) model and disseminates the final version of articles freely and permanently accessible to the public.

The editorial team ensures a rigorous double-anonymous peer review for the submitted manuscripts to maintain the publishing quality. In addition to the articles described above, the journal has a dedicated section for publishing findings from conferences, workshops, and similar events.
