Aims & Scope

The Journal of Social & Health Sciences (JSHS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to providing a national and international forum for the dissemination of scientific knowledge in all aspects of social and health issues. We invite empirical and theoretical contributions in the form of original articles, reviews, case studies, case reports, viewpoints, communications, letters to the editor, and commissioned editorials. These contributions aim to inform current research, policy, and practice in areas of interest to health practitioners, social scientists, and policymakers.

JSHS welcomes submissions from a wide array of social and health sciences disciplines, including but not limited to anthropology, economics, criminology, public health, public policy & administration, psychology, epidemiology, sociology, demography & population studies, behavioral sciences, and geography. Besides our regular annual volume, we occasionally publish special issues focused on a specific theme, which may be guest-edited. Additionally, JSHS features a dedicated section for the publication of findings from conferences, workshops, and similar events. Organizers are encouraged to discuss the possibility of publishing proceedings of scientific meetings with the journal's editors or publisher.
